In December 2025, longtime Sumas residents Tom and Mary Horn, along with their family, lost everything when devastating floods destroyed their home and belongings. At 90 years old, Tom and Mary are known throughout the community for their kindness, generosity, and willingness to help anyone in need. Now, our community has the opportunity to give back to a family that has spent a lifetime giving to others.
The Acme Diner is proud to host a community fundraising event to support the Horn family as they work to rebuild their lives. This will be an evening of live music, community connection, and generosity.
What to Expect
• Live music from local musicians donating their time
• Raffle items with all proceeds going directly to the Horn family
• A welcoming space to come together and show support
100% of all funds raised will go directly to the Horn family to help with clothing, furniture, and essential needs as they begin rebuilding.
Live Music Lineup
4:00–5:00 PM – Aspen Birchfield
5:15–6:15 PM – Havilah Rand
6:30–7:30 PM – Dakota Black
7:45–9:00 PM – Dust & Bone
9:00–10:00 PM – Haley and the Haymakers
Every donation—large or small—will make a meaningful difference. If you can’t attend, please consider sharing this event so others can help support the Horn family during this difficult time.
Come out, enjoy great local music, and help us show the Horn family the same kindness they have shown so many others.
